madCAM, an acronym for Mould and Die CAM, is a sophisticated 3D-CAM plugin designed for Rhinoceros. Its origins trace back to 1987, initially developed as a standalone CAM system for our family-owned mold-making business.

This powerful plugin enables the creation of precise 3, 4, and 5-axis toolpaths directly within Rhino 3D.

Combining Rhino 3D and madCAM forms an efficient CAM system. This integration excels even for projects primarily developed in alternative CAD systems, thanks to Rhino’s robust capability to import various 3D file formats seamlessly.

Continuously refined within our mold-making division, madCAM benefits from direct, practical feedback. This unique development approach ensures madCAM offers exceptional control and machining accuracy. To apply for an educational version of madCAM, you must provide proof of your educational status. This can be done by submitting a request through the form provided below.

Please include an image file (in formats such as jpg, jpeg, gif, bmp, or png) as proof. The file should not exceed 5 megabytes in size.

Students:
If you are a student enrolled in a secondary school, college, university, or a state-accredited career school, you are eligible to apply for a single-user educational license. Along with your application, please submit a copy of one of the following documents, which must be current and dated:
